Widow remarriage: Chhattisgarh NGO to sponsor couples’ honeymoon
தமிழ்நாடு அரசு விதவைப் பெண்கள் மறுமணம் செய்து கொள்வதை ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில் அவர்களுக்குத் தனியாக நிதியுதவி அளிக்கும் வகையில் டாக்டர் தர்மாம்பாள் அம்மையார் நினைவு விதவை திருமண உதவித் திட்டம் ஒன்றை செயல் படுத்தி வருவது தெரிந்த விஷயம்தான். இந்நிலையில் சத்தீஸ்கரில் உள்ள ஒரு அமைப்பு விதவை திருமணத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில் அவர்களின், வெளிநாட்டு தேனிலவு பயண ஏற்பாடுகளை இலவசமாக செய்வதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது.
சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநிலத்தில் ‘நேச்சர் கேர்’ என்ற சமூக அமைப்பு செயல்படுகிறது. இந்த அமைப்பு கணவனை இழந்த விதவைப் பெண்களின் மறுமணத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும் பல்வேறு நடவடிக்கைகளில் இறங்கியுள்ளது. இதன்படி விதவை பெண்களை திருமணம் செய்ய முன் வரும் ஆண்களுக்கு அவர்களின் வெளிநாட்டு தேனிலவு பயணத்துக்கான செலவு முழுவதையும் ஏற்பதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் புதுமணத் தம்பதியர் ஐந்து நாட்கள் ஆசிய நாடுகளில் ஏதாவது ஒரு நாட்டிற்கு தேனிலவு பயணம் மேற்கொள்ளலாம். அதற்கான விமான டிக்கெட், தங்குமிட வசதி உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து செலவுகளையும் அந்த அமைப்பே ஏற்கும்.
இந்த அமைப்பின், இயக்குனர் வினிதா பாண்டே இது குறித்து,” எங்களால் முடிந்த அளவு இந்த சமூகத்துக்காக இது போன்ற சில நற்பணிகளை செய்து வருகிறோம். இத்துடன் விதவை மறுமணத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும் விதமாக அந்த ஜோடிகளுக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு, வீடு உள்ளிட்ட வசதிகளை ஏற்படுத்தி தரும்படி மாநில அரசுக்கு கோரிக்கை வைத்துள்ளோம்.”என்று அவர் கூறினார்.

Raipur, March 11: An NGO in Chattisgarh, with an aim to restore confidence of widows in the state, has decided to honour men who marry widows, said a News18 report. Nature’s Care and Social Welfare Society announced that the organisation will sponsor the couple’s honeymoon trip. The couple would be given 4 days and 3 nights honeymoon package for free. The couple will get to choose from 45 destinations around Asia, according to a report in Dainik Bhaskar. The organisation will, reportedly, appeal to the state government for jobs, house among other things for the couple if they need any such help. The director of the organisation DR Vineeta Pandey said,”This campaign is a step towards providing widows with their lost respect.” 75 men and 55 women, some of them bearing children, attended the event held at Maharashtra Mandal in Choubey Colony. Marriages which were fixed at the event will take place on Akshay Tritiya which falls on May 2 this year.
