20 killed in bus accident in Sirmaur in Himachal

ஹிமாச்சல பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் இன்று (27 செப்டம்பர் 2013) காலை தனியார் பஸ் ஒன்று பள்ளத்தில் கவிழ்ந்து விபத்துக்குள்ளானது. இந்த விபத்தில் 20 பேர் பலியானார்கள். இந்த சம்பவம் அந்த பகுதியில் அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. ஹிமாச்சல பிரதேசம் சிர்மோர் மாவட்டம் ரேனுகாஜில் புறப்பட்டு  உசாதிகார் நோக்கி தனியார் பேருந்து சென்று கொண்டு இருந்தது.  தடாப்ரோக் எனும் பகுதியினில் சென்று கொண்டிருந்த போது சுமார் 550 அடி பள்ளத்தில் விழுந்தது. இந்த பயங்கர விபத்தில் 20 பயணிகள் பலியாகினர் என காவல் துறை அதிகாரி ஒருவர் தெரிவித்து உள்ளார். 15 பயணிகள் விபத்து நடந்த இடத்திலும், 5 பேர் படுகாயமுற்று  மருத்துவமனைக்கு அழைத்து செல்லும் போதும் பலியாகினர் என காவல் துறை அதிகாரி ஒருவர் தெரிவித்தார். பலியான பயணிகள் எல்லோரும் உசாதிகார், அந்தாரி, மற்றும் ஹரிபூர் தார் பகுதிகளை சார்தவர்கள் என்று அறியப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் அங்கு தொடர்ந்து மீட்பு பணிகள் நடந்து வருகிறது. விபத்தில் பலியான பயணிகளுடைய குடும்பத்தார்களுக்கு ஹிமாச்சல பிரதேச மாநில கவர்னர் ஊர்மிளா சிங், முதலமைச்சர் வீரபத்ர சிங், மற்றும் போக்குவரத்து துறை அமைச்சர் ஜி.எஸ்.பாலி ஆகியோர் இரங்கல் தெரிவித்து உள்ளனர்.

About 20 passengers were crushed to dealth and one person was critically injured in a Bus accident occured in Himachal pradesh. This accident happened, when the bus in which they were travelling veered off the road and rolled down into a 600-feet deep gorge in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh this morning. The mishap occurred at around 7.30 am near Ransua-Jabrog village while the bus, with 21 people on board, was on its way from Uchha Takkar to Renuka. Those killed included 17 men and three women, Sirmaur Deputy Commissioner Vikas Labroo told NetIndian from the scene of the accident. The driver of the bus was among those killed, Mr Labroo said, adding that rescue teams were trying to ensure that all the passengers in the bus were accounted for. Eighteen of the victims died on the spot, while the other two sucumbed to their injuries in the Dadhau hospital, sources said. Senior officials, including sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), Sangrah, Harish Negi, had rushed to the spot. Several local people had joined in the rescue efforts.
